Fakes.

All these watches are in my opinion wrong in one way or other. There seems to be more and more fakes on the market than ever before especially in auction houses. It is up to the buyer to do some research into a watch before taking the plunge. There are unique and special edition watches but its safer to stick to models that are well known. Many movements, dials and cases can be mismatched like in this section so take care. Some watches are not fakes and they may just have been altered at some point in their lives i.e. the hand may have been replaced and do not match the originals, this will affect the value and desirability. But one mans perfection may be another mans bargain. So use your own opinion, but try not to buy a watch just because you like the look of it, do some research first. However if anyone disagrees or knows that i have made a wrong judgement on a watch here please contact me and I will stand corrected. Note.....look for Heuer signed dial, movement,crown and caseback. If one or two are missing, be suspicious.

Heuer?no sign of a heuer here just a fake logo.	Heuer? did produce a small number of watches with the champion sparkplug logo on the face but its often a desperate attempt to make a fake more desireable.	Heuer? it has a nice 60's/70's look about it but i have never seen it before .The case looks chromed rather than polished.The sub-dial hands are too large.	Heuer? heuer never used this shaped case.Again the use of a additional logo makes it suspisious .
Heuer? logo is just slightly wrong in shape.The watch gives the impression of a 50's timepeice but the numbers say it could be later.	Calculator?looks like a calibre 12 movement and Heuer dial but the case is wrong.	Camaro?right case,right pushers,right face and probably right movement(unsigned). But the logo is wrong shape and missing "camaro"	Camaro?This time right face wrong case.

Military?This watch has all the right signitures but when looked close the pushers wiggled and the case seemed brand new.The logo looked too bright movement was unsigned.
