As you may have guessed I have a passion for watches as I'm sure you do too. This passion especially for Heuers came to me from being into vintage motor cars and like watches are also works of art that I have loved and lusted over for as long as i can remember. Thirdly is my addiction to sitting at the PC ,ever since my parents bought me a Sinclair ZX81 I have been into computers mainly i have to say for gaming pleasure. But nevertheless the watches cars and pc all go together well in my book so for now I'm happy.

I'm 38 and live with my partner Liza and my son George (now 7)And Alfred (5months).Obviously the sitting at the computer drives the missus mad but she likes the watches and cars as of course does George. So heres my car history for you.
My first car was a dove grey Morris minor to which I blame everything for, it had red leather and a pull button start and the best smell of any vintage car. Its fall backs where it was incredibly slow ,handled like a drunk donkey and had a gearbox that was like trying to put a used cork back into an open bottle of wine....tight and precise! Having said all that it went on and on and I loved it. My second car was a Volkswagen variant fastback. This had a few modifications, it was lowered and generally messed about with providing that surf look that I wanted at the time (seems embarrassing now).Still the car looked good in my opinion but generally behaved poorly being off the road more times than on. After that i got the Italian car fetish as some of my friends where bombing around in Alfa's and looked like they where having the time of there lives (I soon learnt this was not true after sifting through bits down at the local breakers yard with them).Anyhow i bought a Fiat uno turbo ,which i thought would be practical as it was relatively new and fun. No-one forewarned me that it just might be dangerous due to its power to weight ratio. As you can guess it got written off but I had fun and enjoyed the speed then opted for a Volkswagen Golf , reliable but too sensible so it had to go .I then started to get silly and while I was in between cars I bought 2 old minis from a friend in the motor trade who was selling new(old shape) minis. One was for Liza and the other for me, and we both loved them. They where cheap (mine cost £50) and just great fun. I then imported a smart car which was also great ,it has to be said. Then I bought a Lancia intergrale evo 3 an amazing handling fast car but being italian a tad unreliable ,but it was the only car that had a similar feeling to the mini going around corners. I then bought a 1965 alfa giulia sprint gt which was one of the most beautiful little cars I ever wanted to own but again unreliable and after an engine re-build it had to go in the fear of meltdown, i still miss her looks (but we all say that about the odd one don't we). And besides a cherokee Jeep , alfa 145 , austin allegro , mark 1 mini , fulvia zagato and a messershmitt i now own a 1968 mini cooper "S" which is just Fab. the obvious classic car really!

1965 Alfa Giulia sprint gt..................................... Unfortunately you can guess which one of these orange beauties was mine.
Anyway enough of cars, I've been into collecting watches for a number of years and like most hobbies/activities I get into I've got carried away especially in the last few years. Its the hunt and the chase and also the challenge of "can it be fixed".I do a small amount of horological work but I am only self taught from taking watches apart and fixing them .The very hard work i give too a master watch maker. At the moment i can offer my services to watch repairs but need to know the problems first. The only major problems seem to be some replacement or re-made parts. But feel free to drop me a line.
All the watches I sell I offer a money back guarantee if the buyer is dissatisfied with his or her purchase within one week. (minus any paypal or auction charges that may have occurred). All watches have to be tracked via postage or courier .Insurance is optional but I must stress I cannot be responsible for any lost packages. All watches are of a vintage that I cannot guarantee their reliability over a long length of time. I will guarantee that they be in good working order at the time of purchase and are not fake. Any problems/faults that arise during the first six months I shall help to resolve.
